I put these in last year near my shady front door and they did well for me. I love the pink spikes. I would agree that the leaves tend to be-on the yellowish green side. I am hopeful they all come back this spring and will def replace any that I might have lost over the winter.

The flower is pink even though the photos made it look lavender. I should have noticed the writeup said pink. And the leaves are more to the yellow side, not as green as the photos. They have not grown at all in this first year in morning sun, afternoon shade.. So far they are disappointing, Hope they do better next year

I love this plant. I struggled for 4 years to find a perennial that would grow in a shady location in the front of my house, this plant did the trick. Very colorful and eye catching for a shady location. I paired it with Dolce ‘cherry truffles’ Heuchera.
