Trial Name: University of Minnesota - Morris
Trial description: This trial is located in central western Minnesota near the borders with North & South Dakota and is both a gorgeous display garden and a great trial garden. The goal of the annual flower trial at the U of MN WCROC is to evaluate cultivars under regional conditions in order to provide cultivar recommendations for their zone 4 climate. At the end of the growing season, trial results are published.

Trial Name: Cornell University - Ithaca, New York
Trial description: Cornell is located in Ithaca, in upstate New York, which is considered zone 5b. This trial is now located at the Cornell Botanic Gardens, near the Nevin Welcome Center. The new location is highly visible, easy to access, and available to be visited every day from dawn to dusk.

Trial Name: Oregon State University
Trial description: This is one of the few trials located in the Pacific Northwest and at Oregon State the trials are incorporated into the campus landscape in high traffic areas. This allows the students and visitors to view and benefit from the trials each day. OSU is in Corvallis, Oregon which is a zone 8—a mild climate which is a wonderful place to grow plants.
Region: Northwest
Perfect Scores are awarded when over the entire trial season the plant always received a perfect 5 out of a possible 5. They were quite literally judged at the highest level all the way through the trial.
Top Performers on the other hand averaged between a 4.0 and 4.9 for the entire season of the trial out of a possible 5. Which are great plants, but they aren’t perfect.

Trial Name: University of Wisconsin—Final Trial Results
Trial description: The University of Wisconsin trial garden is located in Southern Wisconsin, which is zone 5. The West Madison Ag Station is used by almost all disciplines in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences with a focus on agronomic and horticultural plant breeding and variety trials, community outreach, student training, and providing feed and manure management for the UW-Madison campus livestock.
This trial garden is highlighting plants that performed well all summer and into Fall.
