I ordered this plant twice, I know once from Proven Winners, perhaps both times. It has completely & totally failed to grow at all. It is planted where it got full sun in the summer, in lightly amended clay soil, watered regularly but not excessively (never showed any sign of wilting) & has not grown an inch. they wee basically bumps in the soil when I received them, & that's exactly what they are now. My plan is to dig them up & see if a winter in the greenhouse will revive them, but I don't see much hope. P.S.---Same with the other salvias I ordered from PW---not ordering from you again.

This is my first year with this plant and I love it so far. I planted 2 in a large pot with a PW rockin Fuschsia and some celome and sweet alyssum and they are loving their life!! I pinched them back about 3-4 weeks ago and they have tons of new buds! And best of all....the deer have left them alone!!!!

This plant was amazing! I bought it for a container and in year 2 thing exploded! It was absolutely beautiful with all the flowers and the bees seemed to love it! I live in Zone 6, and this thing survived summer temperatures exceeding 110 degrees Fahrenheit and was a champ!

This flower was in the "personal planting areas" of our condo when we moved in about 7 years ago. I tried to kill it with herbicide, but it just wouldn't die. So I have come to appreciate it's beautiful deep blue flowers and hardy nature. However, I confine it to just one area of my planting section. I expect it would do well on a hillside with good sun, and form a beautiful, erosion-resistant section, with color throughout spring, summer and early fall.
