    • I was looking forward to these blooming. They arrived in fantastic condition and I carefully chose the ideal spot to plant them. Unfortunately, it was a spot where the deer thought they looked too good to resist. They lasted approximately 3 days before I came out to find they were all chewed up. Hoping they will survive and bloom next season. I'm sharing this because the description is that deer and rabbits resist them. Obviously that is not a guarantee they will leave them alone but my deer (& maybe even the rabbits) just couldn't resist them. Glad I tried testing only a few out instead of planting what I truly need in that space.

    • I don't know why Japanese anemones are not a more popular plant for most gardens. This variety is extremely hardy, blooms prolifically, and does not spread readily . How delightful it has been for the last two late Summer-early Fall seasons to have them bridge the gap between bloom times in the front garden. They bloom along with the early asters for a spectacular color combination. They are near the end of their bloom time when mums become available to buy and when my hardy mums begin blooming. I am looking forward to planting more in the future and may use your idea for huecheras and Japanese ferns for companions

    • Extraordinary hardy bountiful blooms. Planted it next to my Laced up Elderberry. Gorgeous color contrast & equally as hardy.
