    Maintenance Notes:

Abelia are easy care plants that need little regular maintenance. It can be lightly trimmed to shape in spring after the new growth begins to emerge if you wish. If you decide to prune in the summer, you'll likely remove some flowers.

    Fun Facts:

Grows quite quickly! If you get a small plant to start with, be sure to trim it back a few times the first year after it has gotten established. This will inevitably sacrifice some flowers, but you'll get a better habit.
